solar update !

soo, solar system... couple panels, charge controller few batteries. easy peasy...no problem. HA ! after  hours of wiring ,miles of power wire and an entire case of  fuses finally have some lights on. everything is low dollar while i go thru the infamous learning curve. harbor freight solar panels, charge controller and originally battery. we learned very early on those batteries can be used for 1 light and a few device charges ( cell phones,tablet etc.) and that is about it. so we grabbed a couple deep cycle marine batteries. WOW what a difference. these batteries can run a ton more however about double what we have is what is needed yet. have 8 panels outdoors which seem to do really well with plenty full sunshine. so that is kind of the nut shell of our current solar situation in the interest of keeping this readable. KEEP MOVING ONWARD AND UPWARD OUT THERE !!
